Dear (future) Guests,
Whether you are looking forward to exploring the Istrian peninsula or relaxing by the crystal clear Adriatic Sea, you have come to the right place.
The rental apartment is part of an old country-style house that was built by Alberto’s grandfather and great grandfather in 1906.
Located high up the steep mountainside that rises above Opatija, the house has a fabulous view of the town and all of Kvarner Bay.
Hoping to retire here one day, we started renovating the house in 2012, including the downstairs apartment for guests. We wanted to create a beautiful and comfortable vacation home while preserving the rustic character of the house. We accomplished this by paying great attention to detail and by using mostly regional building materials in the renovations.
Oli, by the way, is the name of our first grandchild.
